I'm still a bit jetlagged but I'll be sure to post new videos soon.
I'm writing today because quite a few of my videos have been getting flagged recently. Normally this wouldn't bother me since YouTube has reviewed them and made them age-restricted.
Well, yesterday "Trifle Down Boxers" was flagged and deleted from YouTube. I tried to appeal YouTube's decision saying that it wasn't pornographic or sexually explicit as their Community Guidelines state but they still stood by their decision.
Because I don't want to get any more of my videos flagged, I've made a few videos unlisted although they're still accessible via the blog and YouTube playlists.
I've also decided to make a few of my videos Private in case another idiot comes along and tries to get me banned from YouTube. These videos will be posted to restwalker's Xtube though so don't worry about missing out.
It also means that I won't be making any videos public on YouTube for a little while but I'll still be using the site to host my videos for embedding them here.
Honestly, comments and messages would be really appreciated right now.
When somebody comes along and tries to remove my videos just because they don't like them or me, it makes me feel like the effort that I put into them is rather unappreciated.
In summary:
- Don't go to my YouTube channel if you want to watch all of my videos.
- Instead, look at my YouTube playlists, the blog and Xtube for my videos.
- New videos are coming soon but I need to work out what I'm posting once I'm over jetlag.

Youtube has a weird system if you ask me. They allow anyone to fglag a vid,,and it gets taken down. That person can be anyone with a grudge against you or life in general. Seems a little unfair. I dont blame you for what you are doing, its better than loosing your whole channel..thanks for letting us know Dylann
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks. I thought everyone was over that sort of stuff by now. Very sorry to hear it. It's a shame you have to go back to unlisted and Xtube, but it seems like the only reasonable solution.
ReplyDeleteWe all appreciate your vids, so don't let the naysayers get you down. We're family, after all - a bit of an odd family, mind you, but one we've chosen for ourselves. So keep the really naughty bits on UMD or Xtube and you shouldn't have any grief. Now go to the Buckingham Palace gift shop and buy a lovely commemorative chocolate or something.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that YouTube are intimidated by closed minded biggots but the rest of us all _really_ appreciate your vids. It brightens our day when we see a new vid or post from you so don't get disheartened. You're not doing anyone any harm and your are making life better for loads and loads of us. Keep up the great work!
